Hi, everyone. Today I am here to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I will be going home (Portugal) for Christmas tomorrow and will only be coming back on 6th January. This doesn’t mean I will abandon you completely, but I won’t be able to post or check your blogs as regularly. However, I have scheduled a few posts to go live automatically as well. So you shouldn’t miss me. If you need anything, just drop me an email.
I have also updated my Review policy, and I want to say again thanks to everyone who submit requests. If I could, I would read and review every single book!
By the way: These lovely Christmas graphics are part of a freebie pack offered by creativemarket.com (you can get yours too, it’s free this week only).
My Year 2015 in Books
These graphics and stats come from Goodreads. I have read 70 books this year, but I have included a few short stories as well.
My favourite book of 2015 was Wild Seed by Octavia E. Butler – I can’t believe I haven’t read this book before. I haven’t written a review yet, be patient with me.
The other books that I have rated 5 stars include Feast of Fates (4.5 stars); The Day The Saucers Came (short story by Neil Gaiman), and Volume 2 in Red Sneaker writer series.
I have given 4 stars to many books, so this was a good reading year.
I’ve only given 2 stars to six books, and NO DNF (no 1 stars). Pretty cool, uh?
The longest book I have read this year was Malice by John Gwynne. 672 pages of epicness.
It’s interesting to see the stats. I have read many short stories and anthologies this year, and I have started reading graphic novels too! Fantasy is a big part of my reading habits, but no surprise there. What is surprising is how much I have read about writing this year.
How about you? How was 2015 for you?
