TBR Thursday #152 min read

Hello everyone and welcome to  a much needed TBR Thursday! Thursday is also the day I keep you updated on how my reading / writing / blogging life is going in general. So with NaNoWriMo and all, I haven’t been visiting your blogs as regularly as I would have wanted. Because I do love reading every single one of you – you’re all amazing! I had a few Blitz / Promos / Giveaways scheduled (as you might have noticed already) of new books which caught my interest, hope you enjoyed them. But without further ado.

Finished Reading:

I was able to finish two books. They are part of Blog Tours, so the good news is that both reviews will come very soon.
Lumière (The Illumination Paradox, #1)

King Arthur's Sister in Washington's Court

Reading / Plan to Read:

I have finally finished my beta-reading review, which the author found helpful – so I am happy for that. I really wished I’d have more time to be involved in this type of projects (I do have another one that needs yet to be finished). If NaNoWriMo goes well, then I’ll need beta-readers too! Apart from that, I do have a few books on my priority list, review wise (reviews to be posted in December).

December To Be Read & Reviewed:

Rising Tide (Sirens, #1)

Feast of Fates (Four Feasts Till Darkness #1)

Wishing to have time:

For the next couple of months, I’ll try to be involved in less Review Tours (sorry, guys), but this means I will probably have a better chance to accept personal review requests when they come into my inbox! The main reason is that if I am successful in my NaNoWriMo challenge (I have 17,200 words as of today, so not that bad!) and I end up with 50k words, I will still need to write a few more, plus I will also need to edit the whole thing (a lot!) This will be a lot of work, obviously, and I want to be reading material that will be helpful for this task, this includes material about writing, but also books from authors I admire and who have managed to overcome some of the issues I am having. Must reread the first volume of ASOIAF (pay attention to POVs and how Martin captured the attention of people who didn’t even like Fantasy), and definitely finishing Wild Seed which I was actually enjoying a lot before life got in the way.

So that’s it for today, guys. I will keep you updated, and sorry that November is going to be a slow month. I hope everyone else has been doing well with their reading / writing goals.
